A message from the teachers<\/h3>\n

Hello Year One!<\/p>\n

We’re all excited to welcome you back in one way or another. Once again, we’ll all have to get used to a new way of working but we know you’re all up to the challenge. We love seeing what you’re getting up to at home so do keep emailing us photos of your work. We will also be on Teams every morning and afternoon to have a chat, feedback on your day and hear what how you’ve been finding your learning.<\/p>\n

In English, we will be linking our learning to our Wizard of Oz topic and maths lessons will follow the WRMH scheme. In science we are learning all about materials. All work will be uploaded on Monday morning onto the Year One Working from Home page.<\/p>\n

We expect everyone to still be doing daily reading and spelling practice \u2013 you can read your own books from home or you can make use of the books from the reading scheme on the Oxford Owl website. The spellings are on the main Year One page, along with any phonics resources you might need. We will also set weekly Mathletics.<\/p>\n

If you would like to send us anything or ask us any questions, you can e-mail them to year1@holytrinity.leeds.sch.uk . We look forward to seeing your home-learning and creative projects!<\/p>\n
